The rules change at the county line
Concord's tree code is written for development (Article 11) and public trees (Chapter 50); Charlotte's ordinance protects right-of-way and heritage trees; Davidson's is one of the more protective in the region; and every lot on Lake Norman is inside Duke Energy's shoreline buffer.
